A month into the war with Iran.
The main question is: where is the real result?
The gamble on a quick collapse of the regime did not work.
There was no uprising.
The regime adapted to a war of attrition.
It seems the calculation rested on a dangerous illusion:
that the rest of the work would be done for us by the people of Iran themselves.
But state strategy cannot be built on that kind of hope.
The government had everything:
a united home front,
military and intelligence resources,
a strong ally,
diplomatic backing,
and a brilliant opening strike.
And what was all of that converted into?
A prolonged aerial war of attrition.
And now a strategic trap is becoming more and more visible ahead of Israel...
Did the government have a Plan B at all?
Right now, it does not look that way.
A fuller analysis of the first month is already on the channel.
